Sessions
We are Ofsted registered (106285) which entitles us to offer full day care. To ensure quality care for all children, we have no more than 16 children per session with ages ranging from 2 years to the age of 5. We ensure that staffing levels are in line with Statutory Guidance of the Early Years Foundation Stage which is one adult to every eight 3 and 4 year olds and one adult to every four 2 year olds. We ensure that we take the individual needs of children into account when staffing the Pre-School too.
At Yealmpton Pre-School we are pleased to offer a selection of morning, afternoon, lunchtime or all day sessions. These are as follows:
Early Bird - 7.45am - 9.00am (£6.50)
Morning - 9.00am - 11.30am (£15.00)
Lunch Club - 11.30am - 12.30pm (£6.00)
Afternoon - 12.30pm - 3.00pm (£15.00)
Twilight Session - 3.00pm - 4.30pm (£6.00)
High Tea Session - 3.00pm - 6.00pm (£18.00)
We operate Monday - Friday during term time only.
Sessions are allocated on a termly basis with session forms being sent out to you prior to the next term commencing.
Fees
Sessions are charged at £6 per hour for each child if you go over or are not entitled to the funding that every 3 and 4 year old is entitled to. 15 hours of Early Years Educational Funding per week is paid to the Pre-School for your child's sessions. This can be used from the term after your child's third birthday and can be split between two settings should you choose. You may even be entitled to 30 hours of funding which parents need to apply for and pass their 11 digit code and NI number to us to enable us to claim.
